Sorry,Hope,
but I find no hope in forcing myself to endure life with what I don’t want, that is a woman. EVEry part of my being wants to share life to close to my last day on earth as physically possible for me with another man.

what I love and need is a man’s physique, mind, personality, his thought, his spirit, his heart, his drive in life, what makes him both a unique person and a male person.

I can not trick myself into wanting a woman. I cannot love her the way she deserves to be loved. When it is a man I want to spend my time and my life with.

Not every man or woman can be heterosexual. They can pretend and fake it, but there is no real happiness in that and the other person senses that such a relaationship isn’t make the person happy when the gender of mate that is truly desired is one’s own gender.

Life is a journey, life is precious and life is short, far too short to be wasted on being unhappy with what feels to be the wrong gender of person. You cannot force yourself to be attracted to someone who isn’t the type of gender you feel the most compelling need to be with.

If you try to force yourself in this way, you will be at war with yourself for the rest of your life.

Hope. You Jesus whore! You’re not gay so stop trying to tell us what it means to be gay. If having sex with a man makes someone gay then your father, your brother and even your husband is gay too then. Have you not heard that 99% of men have had sex with another man in his life time and the other 1% is lying. Hope, in case you’re that stupid, that means every man has had same-sex experience in his life time. I bet your husband likes it from the back doesn’t he and ‘some of my best Heterosexual friends’ have told me that most of their boyfriends and husbands love to it get with a dildo. Does that make them–gasp–gay? You can take outdated Christian beliefs and shove it up your ass and stop trying to shove it down our throats. This is America, land of the free, in case you’ve forgotten. You might want to have a conversation with your black grandparents who were once slaves. Jesus was probably Gay and Peter was his lover. Hope, in 1 Corinthians 7:8, a few lines down from the verse you quoted, Paul wrote, “But I say to the unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them to remain even as I am” – and Paul was single. So, clearly, he wasn’t saying that everyone had to be heterosexually married. Jesus never married, and neither did most of the disciples. As for the word “agape,” it is used to mean marital love, in addition to love for Christ. It’s certainly true that “as for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless” – but flawless doesn’t mean intolerant and prejudiced. Have you forgotten John 3:16? Having eternal life depends on faith, not on conforming to the prejudices of the world.

Really? I can talk to God? I thought the voices in my head was just a mild case of schizophrenia. I never said that I talk to the Creator/Divine/God what have you. What I am saying is that translations, from both the mouth of God to the word of Man and into the seperate languages is going to screw up anything meaningful. Have you ever tried translating a word that has multiple translations? The multiple translations will screw up any thing you’re trying to say, especially if you’re a novice in the language. Or, the translation you want and the translation you have are not even close. If those guys really spoke to the Divine, then whatever. I do not know if they really spoke to God, if they were hallucinating or what, and neither do you for that matter. What you have is essentially hearsay.

What I don’t understand is why people seem to think that quoting a book will get anywhere? Books are written by people, not dropping out of the sky. Besides, the idea of religion is also man made. I’m not an atheist, I just don’t understand why it is people wish for others to follow a religion that was essentially formed by man and as such, will put others down because they are different. Break out of organized religion and find your own way to communicate with the Creator or what have you. If you follow a religion that says it is a religion of love, why stop us from loving who we want, when we want and in the way we want? Why not allow us our love and love us for loving others and being happy?

No Elvis when you have sex with a man it makes you gay not when you love one, and the type of love Christ has is called “agape” has nothing to do with anything physical. Cor.7:2 each MAN should have his own wife, and each WOMAN her own husband. In verse 4 the wife is defined as a her (female) and the husband is defined as him (male). God cannot give you anything that goes against his word.Ps. 22:31 “As for God, his way is perfect;the word of the Lord is FLAWLESS.
