Where are the black commentators? Are the leaders of our community all white? Do you wonder if that may be impacting our efficacy?

Nobody is mentioning the victory in CT with the Question #1 for a constititional convention to amend or revise the CT constitution. This was a move by our opponents to have an initiative process in CT (we don’t have now) in order to overturn our recent Supreme Court decision for marriage. This qusetion lost 60/40 and prevents these types of popular vote initiatives. This was a huge vitory for us and tomorrow, Nov 12th, CT will begin issuing marriage licenses.

Yeah, it helps brings some perspective.
I’m STILL choked about Prop 8 five days later and I’m not even American.

SO great to hear about all the other LGBT wins. I’ve just been hearing about the loses
