New York Wedding March
New York Governor David Paterson has pushed for same-sex marriage in his state, but now says he will defer to the judgment of New York Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith about when the bill could make it to a vote in the Senate. The pro-marriage side needs a handful of votes to swing its way to get the bill passed, and Thomas Duane – the only openly gay senator in the NY state senate - makes a bold prediction about the bill’s chances.

Wonder what it is that makes the previously-reluctant Sen. Duane now so optimistic?
A note to New York legislators: it’s better to lose in a narrow vote and know your supporters and opponents, than it is to be stabbed in the back by people who will never do anything to right a wrong.
if things fail there put it on the ballot polls show that NY is for it.!
