Liza’s at the Tony’s
Itay Hod interviews Broadway royalty, Liza Minnelli, about her Tony-nominated Special Theater Event, LIZA’S AT THE PALACE. Liza talks about the inspiration behind her first show in nearly a decade – she performed at the Palace Theater with her mother, Judy Garland – and the show is dedicated to Liza’s godmother, Kay Thompson, who wrote the “Eloise” children’s books.

I love Liza. She’s terrific!! I hope she wins! Good luck Liza!
Someone should inform Itay that when he conducted his interview with Liza prior to last night’s TONY AWARDS, she had been nominated for FOUR Tonys(not three as he stated) and had won three.

1978 Actress (Musical) Winner – Liza Minnelli (The Act)

As of last night, that statistic is now FIVE nominations and FOUR wins.
