Even if the two had engaged in sexual activity while Breedlove was still 17, it wouldn't have been illegal. I was also upset that he suggested that in relationships between partners with a large age disparity, the elder is somehow "preying" on the younger. Spring-Fall relationships have long been accepted as commonplace in the gay community so it's disappointing to see one looked upon with such scorn. Btw, I'm 21 and my partner will be turning 36 this year. We've been together for 3 years now and if there was ever any preying in our relationship I was certainly the predator.
