Breedlove’s next move
Beau Breedlove, the former intern who had an affair with the out mayor of Portland, Sam Adams, has decided to pose for Unzipped magazine. Breedlove talked with Ross Palombo about the affair in his first on-camera interview.

I think it was inappropriate of the interviewer to suggest that something illegal had gone on between the two men considering that Washington’s age of consent for sexual activity is 16. Even if the two had engaged in sexual activity while Breedlove was still 17, it wouldn’t have been illegal. I was also upset that he suggested that in relationships between partners with a large age disparity, the elder is somehow “preying” on the younger. Spring-Fall relationships have long been accepted as commonplace in the gay community so it’s disappointing to see one looked upon with such scorn. Btw, I’m 21 and my partner will be turning 36 this year. We’ve been together for 3 years now and if there was ever any preying in our relationship I was certainly the predator.
