to the previous complainers -

Grow up! Just because you don't see someone doesn't mean they don't have a voice.

I have been involved in the community for over 10 yrs. If I had refused to do community works because I didn't have representation from every sub-population of the GLBT community, I can assure you I would have never gotten things done.

I set forth on every effort with all members of the community in mind. While it is obvious that nobody could represent them as well as they could themselves, until they are as willing to put themselves into that light, then I will continue to carry that torch for them.

Let's drop the whole "deva" act in regards to someone being left out! We know damn well that we are all cherished in this community, whether we put ourselves in the spotlight or not!

I nor would you (I hope)would thrust a person into the spotlight merely for the reason to force diversity in front of a camera. I am sure most latinos and blacks are fighting other battles centered around a minority status; as is... I think the least some of us who are caucasian could do is put forth a bit more effort on their behalf in our own community.

I have only one question. How can you ask the next leader of this country to accept Gays and Lesbians as full and equal citizens of this diverse country when you have not accepted that Gay and Lesbians are diverse? Where was the diversity on your panel? Seriously, did you invite any news person/activist from the African American, Latino or Asian community to be part of your panel and they declined? Or, do you believe the only informed concerned voices in the Gay and Lesbian community are those of the Caucasians? The policies of the next Administration will affect all of us; it would have been interesting to hear what other members of our community thoughts were on the debate.

Good debate but not very fair. 3:1, Democrats to Republican. Jimmy LaSalvia, from Log Cabin held his own but only got to respond 3 times. Let's be fair and hear all sides, even if we disagree.
