365 Exclusive: “Don’t Ask” soldier speaks out
She’s the first soldier kicked out of the Kansas Army National Guard under Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, even as President Obama has promised to repeal the policy. Amy Brian talks to Ross Palombo for her first on-camera interview.

Isn’t the full name “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, Don’t Harass, Don’t Pursue”? And isn’t an investigation both asking and pursuing?
She violated the ‘Tell’ part by exposing herself through same-sex activity public.
While in the armed forces it clearly states in the code that a person(s) is not to engage in any homosexual conduct, regardless if they are, on or off base, or in private or not. It also says you are not to attempt to marry someone of the same biological sex or be married to someone of the same biological sex.
What bothers me is how NOBODY knows this stuff, including the gay people that seem so surprised when they get kicked out for it.
Maybe if people realized how invasive the armed forces code is regarding homosexuality it wouldn’t have lasted this long, but no, people continue to just be deer-in-the-headlights about the issue
.
I don’t think Obama is going to do anything. I think he will have a few studies done but I don’t think we’ll see a repeal. Its sad really.
I think that we should get all the heterosexual army dudes and dudettes to support their gay bros/sis in arms. They should let it known that its ok with them. Then I think all the gay people should come out at the same time. Lets see big Army kick them all out at once.
Let the straights die in war. Gays have a different battle to fight here in the States.
@RAD-MAD: That is why I am in college and not in the military. But, if you want to be in the army and shoot terrorists, it’s fine by me.
