Truthfully, it was one of the worst Tonys I remember. Who ever was doing the producing/directing, fell down on their job terribly. I was offending by the In Memoriam section and appalled by the mistakes done by so-called professionals everywhere. This is the best of Broadway??? Don't make me laugh 'cause it's surely making me cry.

Neil Patrick Harris is sooooooo talented.
Pleeeez dear god of broadway, bring him back to host the Tony Awards next year!I thought his suit looked great...better on him than on Whoopi Goldberg.(yawn!)
Microphone/Sound problems...who cares? This years Tony's was entertaining, uplifting, outrageous, emotional and well produced,as well as,Gay,Gay,Gay!!! THANK GOD for the Broadway Community and it's love and acceptance for ALL.
If we could just channel that sanity into the minds of the ignorant, they would come to realize the value of the Gay Community in every facet of their lives,in the Military,in the work force,
in Parenting,and yes,on Broadway.
All this inspired by the TONY AWARDS!
I'm just sayin'...

Gay, gay, gay is right! I joke with my straight friends that the Tonys are my "gay Super Bowl Sunday". I tell them that as part of the "deal", they get February, I get June!

I loved the show. I thought Neil Patrick Harris did a great job (better than Whoopi). They should have used him more, but hey, this is the night for the nominees. One of his best jokes was when he took a swipe at Jeremy Piven with the sushi. "I could just eat these all day every day!!" I roared.

His closing number was hilarious. I hope they ask him to do it again next year.

The only problem I saw (or heard) was the constant microphone problems. It really came to a head when one of the stagehands ran out and gave one of the actors from "Guys and Dolls" a microphone for him to be heard. Back in Broadway's olden days (Merman, Channing, et al.), a microphone was unthinkable, but hey, that is today's reality.

One great moment was when "Hair" won for best revival. I always thought it a travesty that such a great groundbreaking musical was denied its rightful Tony. It lost in '69 to "1776". I mean, can anybody hum the tune "Momma, Look Sharp"?! It's nice to see that this was corrected.

The Tonys always give short shrift to plays, which is sad. I thought it was neat when they showed snippets from an animated background, but it wasn't enough.

Overall, job well done.

One last thought: Raul Esparza, if you are reading this, MARRY ME!

The Tony Awards were, in short, absolutely wonderful. Especially Neil Patrick Harris's wonderful song at the very end. Who knew he could carry a tune . . . and what a tune it was, too!
