But it isn't political. I live in Arlington, VA and shudder at even the thought of trying to get into D.C., much less within viewing distance of the inauguration. Tanget: Interesting that the Secret Service (D.C. Police? some "authority" with police power) is closing down all bridges into D.C. Perhaps this is a practice run for new Transportation Security Administration procedures??? Nada. Nope. No way. Not going. But it isn’t political. There should be no question of Obama's support for us, and there should be no question of our support for him. I have called it Amateur Drinking night for years and would rather stay home and let the younger memebers of the community have fun ringing in the New Year. May we all Hope for Equality for all Peace amognst man and upon the earth, and the "CHANGE" that seems to be coming! The change in peoples attitudes toward our government and hopefully a change in the thinking about the LBGT community!
