It's time for all in the LGBTQ community to stop hoping for a better world and start working for a better world. It is coming, but needs to be pulled over the last few mountains. We've won in Vermont, and we're canvassing in NH right now. Go to NH Freedom to Marry and jump in! When the Speaker of the House, who had worked so hard for us and bet so much of his political capital on helping us, choked out "The bill has passed," the feeling in the Vermont state house was one of the great moments of my life. Sen. John Campbell, a married straight Catholic dad,who got pounded on by the bishop, said it was the best feeling since the birth of his kids - getting involved lets us meet people like that and heal some wounds. That vote was so close that it really emphasized how even a little bit of effort can pay off when we add it all up. I can't wait to see what this summer brings - come on California Supreme Court! - Northeast Casey I’m smiling too – and on the move.
