Don’t talk to me about being non-violent….It is way past time to force the government into fairness and equal rights for the Gay Community;……being passive has NOT helped any one in the GD religious assed USA !!!!!! I would not be surprised (and I would not blame them) if the Gay Commmunity of California, secretly burned every church to the ground and spit on the ashes (when no one was there) until every goddamned church in Califorinia is reduced to ashes. Being nice, fair and diplomatic has not worked; it is time to declare war. The carnage and corrupt religious wombats will not listen to reason. They have no morals, but sit and judge others…..IT IS WAY PAST TIME THAT THEY ARE PUT IN THEIR PLACE AT THE BACK OF THE BUS !!!!!

Oh, Henry. Please don’t mock these good people in God’s name. Lord knows how sad you were when all the boys in gym class mocked you because you had such a tiny penis in Senior High School. @ Chris Lee–no, ignorant tool, marriage didn’t begin as a religious rite. It began as the primary way to establish chattel–which man owned what, including which woman/women that covered. Marriage later evolved into contract law.

There’s also the equal-protection question raised by allowing some gays to marry, but not all. The court refused to invalidate the existing marriages. Why? If the voters spoke, then how is their Gospel word somehow not applicable to some gay Californians?

If anybody is scared of this issue going into Federal courts, remember what Scalia wrote in the dissenting opinion on Lawrence v Texas. Without dragging out a full citation, Scalia’s dissenting view was that removing the state’s right to treating gay sex as a moral threat to society would open the door to gays getting married. Ted Olson, for one, is more than capable of citing Scalia’s own opinion, at any stop in the federal court system.

God did not make up the word “marriage”. If I am truly a sinner (faggot) in your eyes, then eating shellfish is a sin, not having slaves is a sin, etc. Who made you “GOD” to determine the civil rights of other people. If you wife or husband was in a car accident, and was almost dead, you’d get to go and see them in their last moments of life. If I were in the same situation, I would not be allowed to spend the last few minutes of my partners life, because “GOD stated this” and this is how we should live. Thats a bunch of BS. If GLBT is truly an evil or sinful act, then I think you should be put in jails because of your iditoticy of following a church, putting all of your money into a church, and making a comfy home for the preacher. I do believe in a spirtual world, but I don’t live out of an old book written how many years ago??
