I’ve gotten on good aauthority that 50% of the army nurse corp, male and female, are gay.

Lets ask our soldiers to vote on whether these 50% should be routed out and discharged.

Wonder what would happen………

Wonder what the circumstances are with the majority of outings and consequent dismissal. For men or women. Are most accidental–somebody just opened their mouth without thinking? Is it more likely when there’s some kind of rejection? Of the women pushed out under DADT, is there any info on how they came to be outed?

Blatant discrimination against women added to sexual rejection..nothing new in Military Life. Just ask Elaine Doneelly the EXPERT everyone interviews about it.

JC given Tailhook, I think appropriate sexual conduct of military personnel is a huge issue. It seems to be nothing more than a BIG BIG fraternity animal house with the worst offenders of the past in charge! I think women who get unwanted sexual advances need to attack these men’s lack of sexual prowess. These men obviously want to be dominated by a “partner” (That term implies more of an equal relationship than is appropriate!)

When JC says “I think that men in the military may be more likely to put themselves in a position to be rejected” does that just mean that military men are more piggish? Just clarifying. You put it in such pleasant terms. nice spin.
The tactic should be once a female receives an unwanted advance from a male in the military she reports the oppressor as being gay.

I agree with Michael. Furthermore, I think that men in the military may be more likely to put themselves in a position to be rejected, which makes the problem even worse.

I wonder if this argument, that DADT breeds sexism in the military, will be more effective in removing DADT than the argument that the policy is discriminatory to gays.

this makes sense to me. Women who reject the advances of men are easily labeled Lesbian. The straight male ego is very fragile. it can’t handle rejection by a strong woman! And it takes a strong woman to be in the Air Force.
