Be proud of your lesbian heritage but do NOT paint lesbians as saints. They are not! Lesbians are no different than the rest of humanity. The term “lesbian” speaks volumes and perhaps it was used to make a long story short.

AJ makes a good point. “Lesbian killers” makes it sound like they’re killers of lesbians. If you’re a chicken killer, we assume you’re a killer of chickens, not a rampaging rooster.

Headlines like this give the glbt community a bad name, suggesting that lesbians are killers.
In fact, these two crazy women were killers, and also happened to be lesbians.
In this day and age we would never say the Black killers were found, or for that matter, that the white killers were found.
Why is it ok to identify these women first as lesbians and only secondary as murderers?
