Church officials (with the support of public opinion) identify homosexuality in the priesthood as a bad thing (when their own statistics show between 20%-40% of clergy are gay or bi) and decide to clean it up. They form a committee and tell them to go to work. Four years later the committee comes back and reports that, like magic, they have fixed the problem. Now we can get the media off our backs and move back into our ecclesial closets.

Wake up, people. It’s a lie! There is virtually no change in homosexuality in seminaries. The whole thing is a ruse to divert attention from the fact that the sex abuse crisis in the church is mostly the making of the poor management and constant lying of the bishops themselves. Guess what, these same bishops, who lied and cheated and pushed molesting priests from one parish to another for decades without offering either the priest or the victim the help they needed, are now in charge of fixing the problem they caused. Do you think they are going to finally admit that they failed? Or that they are attacking the wrong cause of the problem?

I was catholic for 45 years and have a brother who is a priest. One priest/psychologist I know (not my brother) told me how the committee operated. They tried to classify homosexual tendencies as “latent,” “transitional,” or “deep-seated.” The latent and transitional guys were given a pass but are being “supervised.” This priest told me that the committee magically “cured” the few deep-seated homos they found and reclassified them as transitional so they could report another rousing success.

The main reasons for the shortfall in vocations are the shrinking size of American families and diminishing reliance on the church as a social support. The old Irish addage of “and one for God” doesn’t hold up in one or two child familes. And children have less need to look at the priesthood as good steady work.

That leaves only two reasons to go into the seminary: an authentic calling to the priesthood, and the same old big welcoming closet the church has always been.

NO priests, no church. Glory to God. He will be pleased. He is prob running out of space in his re-education camp.

Absolutists who think they are God, or His voice. Yet there history shows that they are, primarily in the upper heirarchy, the very incarnation of Satan himself. The current pope also learned lot, growing up as a youth of age 4 to 17 in nazi germany.

The popes recent tying together of gays and ecology is nothing but a clever way of saying to the believers that gays are pollution within society. And so many people are now realizing what a poisonous chemical mess we have created. Of course, the pope wants gays seen in the same light – poison.

Hopefully this monstrosity of HYPOCRISY in the name of God will die out. But society doesn’t have a thousand years more to wait.

And we could take a page from the Islamic street warriors who have been known to burn their enemies flags in the street- If you are gay, or have gay friends, or realize what this church is, there should be mass bible burnings in front of these churches. We may well be reaching a tipping point where the catholic youth – I know quite a few – ahve no use for this anachronism from the darks ages.

Official FBI statistics from the 1990′s said 90% of molesters were heterosexual in orientation even those who molested same sex. 10% were gay. As many studies will tell you gays are 10% of the population, and no more or less likely to molest.. makes sense.
