More proof the Roman Catholic Church is way behind the times: superstitious beliefs, telling people NOT to use condoms,which will promote MORE Hiv infection / AIDS, more unplanned/unwanted births,more poverty,more social unrest,more upheaval in countries that don’t have the infrastructure to support growing populations,etc. The Pope and the Church are morally irresponsible fascist lunatics.How in the hell can anyone take these imbeciles seriously is beyond any rationally thinking person.No wonder the Church is desperate to increase its membership among the least educated /poorest populations. Its brainwashing run rampant. Of course the Pope will repudiate his own words when Hiv / Aids cases increase around the world and blame it on innocent people. He needs to shut the hell up. He doesn’t know the facts. He’s another dangerous despot.

The pope doesn’t understand his own church’s thoughts on condoms. Or, perhaps he just chooses to leave logic and balance out of his logorrhea.

The church states that only sexual relations between a husband and wife in a church-sanctioned marriage are to be condoned. All other sexual behavior is considered to be “contraceptive” in nature. Therefore, anyone engaging in such contraceptive behavior has A MORAL DUTY to do so in a way that is not injurious to the partner.

Thus, if one engages in a sex act WITHOUT using a condom, he or she is guilty of a double “evil” because the act can be viewed as a biological attack on the other partner. There is no difference in culpability whether the act is hetero or homo in essence. If one engages in contraceptive sex, one is OBLIGED to protect the partner.

It just goes to show the pope’s dementia is really and truly deep seeded. He really has not a clue afterall can he truly say he’s never ever had sex or never ever jerked off or wanted to bang a nun in the vestibule. This is the 21st century C.E., NOT the 5th century B.C.E. … the meanderings and myths of a small primitive Bronze-Age tribe don’t have a WHOLE lot of relevance today.

Even modern JEWISH scholars question if the Passover and the Exodus actually took place. Egyptians kept GOOD records; there are no mentions of either.

The “Church” put together the Bible around 400 C.E., and by then they’d already had 400 years to monkey with the texts, AND THEY DID! PLENTY!

The Jesus Project estimates that about 10% (is it?) of the “sayings of Jesus” in the Gospels are authentic (insofar as ANYTHING from 2,100 years ago with no primary sources CAN be authenticated … I believe they used computer comparison of language).

A good example is the “pluck your eye out if it offends you” passage … the Church added that, and changed the interpretation of Gehenna, the trash dump outside Jerusalem (“where the fires never die”) into the dubious doctrine of HELL.

And for those who point to Revelation as the answer to all of today’s questions, THAT was an allegory about the fall of the Roman Empire and the spread of the “Church” … written on some GOOD drugs .

Condoms save lives, PERIOD!

People have been having sex since the dawn of time, and no law of man or “god” is likely to stop them. They NEED access to information so they can PROTECT themselves.

It’s interesting that the Bible Belt states most opposed to birth control and sex ed have the HIGHEST rates of unmarried teen pregnancies.

Why does anyone even listen to this old NAZI? Just because he wears skirts now instead of jodphurs, and a pointy hat instead of his “crush cap” does NOT entitle the likes of him to dictate his views (ancient and out dated as they may be) to the rest of the world.

The next time he sets foot on american soil, I suggest bombarding him with rolls of toilet paper, five will get you ten all that would be left is a large brown stain.
