How about if we tattoo “REV. PETER MULLEN HAS LEARNED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT HUMANITY IN HIS ENTIRE TIME ON EARTH, AND, AS SUCH, SHOULD NEVER MAKE A COMMENT ABOUT HOW PEOPLE CHOOSE TO EXPRESS THEIR AFFECTION FOR EACH OTHER EVER AGAIN”?

How dare this man! And, just to let you know “Reverend” Mullen: there are THOUSANDS if not MILLIONS of “straight” people who participate in the same sexual activity you “condemn.” In fact, you’d probably like to yourself.

If you think you are “helping” people with your hatred, then you’d best be served by looking into your own mirror and asking what is wrong with YOU.

If he thinks that HIV and AIDS is a punishment from god to gays then god must really love Lesbians, because they have the lowest HIV and AIDS rate than any of the rest of us. Being gay shouldn’t be a crime. They should get the chance to be just as miserable as the rest of us who aren’t gay, but who stick up for them. If the gays of this world want to be together then who are we to say no to them. Love is love no matter where it comes from. A book of mine once said “Love from the heart wasn’t put there to stay, love isn’t love till it’s given away.” This quote is very true. Love isn’t love till you give it to someone else wether they be the same sex as you or the opposite. Let gays get married and be with each other. Let them be miserable like the rest of us. Give them a chance they aren’t as bad as you think they are. Gays are people to. FDR once said we have nothing to fear but fear itself. So why in the bloody bollocksing hell are we so damn scared of homosexuals. If they don’t ask you out or hit on you then what the hell is your damn problem with them?

When someone tells you that the Bible condemns homosexual relationships and then quotes from a translation that actually uses the term “homosexual,” those are clear signals that both the argument and the translation are phony.

Both are forms of disinformation and propaganda. They are heavily biased in favor of particular sectarian ideologies, especially fundamentalism, that are designed to promote homophobia and bigotry under the guise of divine approval and protection.

If you want to quote the Bible, quote the whole thing. The passage says that he who is with sin will not enter the kingdom of God; however, Jesus was sent to wash away EVERYONE’S sins. WE ARE ALL SINNERS, straight or gay. It is NOT for any one of us to stand in judgement of another’s behavior. Don’t forget that Jesus said, “If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.” And they all left.

Tolerance and compassion was the way of Jesus Christ and so should it be for us.

From the 6th chapter of 1 Corinthians, not an editted that leaves out part of the sentence:

9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Gail, eieth you have a truly disturbed sense of humor or you need some serious cousneling. “You like gay people”. That’s nice – but I think you have me confused withsoneone who gives a sh*t. Even so, I can say in all fairness that I “tolerate” straight people myself – even though they run this planet and have done a pretty shit*y job of it.
