I also think it was wrong of the group to post the information on the internet, people are entitled to privacy and complete freedom of association. However, the situation is a little ironic. Nick Griffin (head of the BNP) is trying to take the people who posted the information to court under the Human rights act (HRA) which was passed in 1998 by the labour government. He is using the right to privacy and freedom of association as reason to have the hackers prosecuted. However this is the same human rights act that the BNP have constantly criticised, and they claim that if in power they would remove. Making their point completely redundant and laughable! Obviously i despise the BNP, any right minded in Britain does.
