So, “two-thirds of LGBT Americans” think the nation is headed in the right direction?

So, is that two-thirds of all gay men? Two-thirds of all lesbians? Two-thirds of all bisexuals? And two-thirds of all transsexuals?

Oh really? Can we see the sampling data?

At least on gay issues, we are headed in the right direction.

Whether the Dems in Congress are moving on the bills or not, public opinion is changing for the better.

There is a consistent upward trend among all polls on support for same-sex marriage, and consistent downward trends both on opposition to it and support of civil unions as an alternative.

A nation is always moving in the right direction when people learn to celebrate diversity and understand others. However, we also need to see an end to discriminatory laws to truly move in the right direction.

A nation always moves in the correct direction when people learn to be more accepting and understanding of others. However it remains to be seen if this is actually taking place.
