I watched her interview on CNN last evening. Not only did she come off as arrogant and uppity, she did not answer any question put to her, and loquasiously said nothing. Talk about spewing $#!+. This woman should never have anything to drink and be given car keys, unless she accidentally drives over a tall craggy cliff.

I am sure she knows all about connecting with only the rich, even if she was born with a lead sproon in her mouth. Can anyone say “stupid” when they see hew coming? Hmmm!

I can’t say it any better than the first post, Jim & I also agree with NJ Truthseeker. We are not electing a bartender for President. Besides, what could be meaner than dumping your first wife when she loses her looks and health? (McCain) – Ask Baroness deRothschild about that. What a twat.

I keep hearing this nonsense that Obama is “arrogant” by those on Hillary’s losing team, and that he doesn’t “connect” or he isn’t “reaching out” enough. What the hell do they mean? What evidence is there of Obama ignoring or not reaching out to any group? What arrogant statements has he made? And what evidence do these whining snobs provide that McSame will follow Hillary’s policies any closer than Obama? Such people are not true Democrats; they are ideologues masquerading as party members. Good riddance to them. I only hope that the ignorant and gullible don’t follow you.

It baffles me that if you’re serious, focused, educated, formidable and, frankly, Presidential, but different than the status quo… you’re haughty, “uppity”, elitist and the other canard that people are being fed.

He isn’t the only President OR candidate to graduate from Harvard!!!! Look it up.

I don’t care if I NEVER have a beer with the guy OR stand on the sidelines at a soccer game.

I DO , however, care DEEPLY about another 4 to 8 years of what I have endured. Honestly, How could he possibly BE any worse that what we’ve had? Seriously. Sheeeesh!

Give the guy a chance to prove himself. Oh, waait. There I go expecting to see beyond their fears, preconceptions and biases. How silly of me! Meh.

Of course Obama comes off as arrogant and connect with regular American people. That is one of the reasons for his struggles of late.

Obama’s fundraiser last night in Hollywood has done nothing to work towards connecting him with the people he needs to vote for him.

Unfortunately, (or fortunately) the way people feel about someone plays as much if not more than logic as to if people vote for them. I agree that it doesn’t always mean they would be effective, but that’s the way the brain is built. Think of when John McCain smiles and says, “My friends” and it gives a lot of people the creeps. Both candidates do things that people don’t like. The one who people feel “gets” them will probably have the most sway with voters. People need to relate with them and feel they’re accessible.

It will never cease to amaze me that the Black son of a single mother is labeled the elitist. Does intelligence equal being a snob to the party that gave us Dan Quayle,George Bush and now Sarah Palin. I personally find Mr. Obama to be very likable, but even if he were not, what common touch is this woman speaking of. Mr. Obama may not have the common touch the banking industry is looking for, thank God.

She’s right (in the literal sense). But she misses the point entirely. Obama isn’t particularly likable as a soccer coach or bartender. He’s quite haughty and dismissive. And nobody would ever accuse him of having the “common touch.” But we aren’t electing a soccer coach or bartender…
