Another interesting fact-neither the police or the TABC will take responsibility for ordering the raid (which included a paddy wagon, I might add.) Now have you ever heard of a liquor license check that included a paddy wagon? They are trying to cover their ass. But, we have local and state-level politicians that have committed to resolving this.

News last night said that the officers (police and TABC) involved are on desk duty pending investigations. These people don’t need to be in the public if they can’t control their tempers and feelings any better than that.

I think that Victor was right on with his comment.
“Of course this was intentional. It was to teach us a lesson that they are still in control and can stomp on us any time they choose. They just “happened” to pick the 40th anniversary of Stonewall. Mistake? I’m not buying any of it.”
This incident reminds me of the ATF guys who came to Mount Carmel in 1993 with more firepower than they could handle just to serve papers. The planning and approval for this fiasco came from the elder Bush.

If you wanna stop hate, stop effing hating on Texas! Don’t act like shit like this doesn’t happen in every state! Irrationally hating an entire State of the Union is just as bad as irrationally hating an entire group of people.

Be pissed off at the scum-bag cops who did this, but don’t blame the state. When you blame Texas, it sounds as if you are blaming Texans, and I am a Texan and I would never in my life condone this type of abuse of power. In fact you should be thanking the state of Texas for their hasty investigation into this horrific incident. Punishments will be doled out accordingly to the offending officers and this case will garner ample media attention.

If you can’t see this then you have some serious blinders on. I wish Chad Gibson a speedy and complete recovery and hope those poor excuse for cops get what they deserve.

I know that historical reenactments are popular with fans of things like the Civil War. But I think the Texan cops are maybe getting a little too into the Stonewall thing.

Now the issue is making them regret this.

The action of the Fort Worth moral police does not supprise me. It reminds me of another time, in another country were the brown shirt moral police round up gays and sent them to prison, our pink triangle.
