Not sure why the story is here, though gay people as well as straights get h1n1. Why they’d go with a “H” anything in naming something in this country I have no idea… however, I’ve recently been told that if this flu reaches Africa, and let’s face it us americans will probably spread it there, it will be utterly fatal to those with HIV. Of course HIV being a government developed disease, I’m sure this swine flu is close behind. I mean we’re discussing this instead of our crappy economy now and of course done talking about men in this country finding beheadings trendy.

We’re busting our butts down at the flu clinics to get this one under control. We’re working very very hard so you can sit back and make fun of how everyone is “over reacting”. After all, YOU aren’t sick, so it can’t be real, right? How about if you take a shift and let some patient vomit on YOU while you try to get a swab of virus to send to the county public health lab?

This country which I love very dearly , has been nothing but a mess ever since Obama took office . I would have let GM go belly up they’ve been making “shoeboxes” since time began , they should have looked at the foreign cars and said “Dah” that’s what people want ! And everything else that’s going on is nothing but pityful, the bad thing is that you can’t even sit in or outside a bar or at home and have a cigarette with a cocktail to think about it because they’re almost 10$ a pack in Rhode Island now, and they’re going to tax alcohol next! So much for “change” , I just bailed out a useless company , could die of swine flu in the 5-6mths. it’s going to take to get it to us , and I can’t afford to go out with a smile on my face ! Thank-you sooo much……….

Why are you hyping this non-story on your site? This is purely a news-media invention, abetted by the foot-in-mouth antics of Joe Biden and feverishly seized upon by anti-immigration bigots. It will probably prove to be no worse than seasonal flu outbreaks, and more of a non-story than the avian flu of a few years back.

We’re closing schools for this flu, but not grounding airplanes? If this was a true pandemic as WHO has been telling us, Biden would be absolutely right, and regarded as a hero for speaking up. But he’s being ridiculed because we’re being lied to. This is not a pandemic, or anything close to it. It’s a way for desperate news organizations to make money.
