		<description>I think True Blood is a good example of being fair. If you ignore for a moment that the main theme of the show is a metaphor for the gay community&#039;s attempts to assimilate, the show features MANY heterosexual characters and one gay guy. And the gay guy is not stereotypical, placed in a neutered &quot;silly side kick&quot; role, or sanitized for mass consumption (he&#039;s as messy and imperfect as the rest of the characters on the show). It&#039;s a really good gay depiction. (Not to mention that there aren&#039;t enough depictions of LBGT people of color in mainstream media, anyway. The character is African American.)</description>
