What I'd like to know is why are some of the side effects from these HIV drug cocktails, similar to what people were dying of before there were HIV drugs? Especially the wasting syndrome that most people experience as a side effect on HIV drugs. Isn't that the same thing that PWAs were experiencing during the 80s? Interesting study.
