I'm not all that worried. The odds are on the side of equality in this vote.

It never ceases to amaze me how these right wing nut jobs who are opposed to marriage equality say we are out to "prove something."

As for the argument regarding the teachings in school. We were never taught to go out and be gay or straight.

As for it being a "healthier" home to have 1 father and 1 mother, well I can say to that argument, it didn't work on me as I turned out gay...
Nice try homophobes...

Brian O'Reilly, you can't say Corzine "never" delivered on his promise. The bill is READY for a vote NOW. And the NJ Assembly is expected to vote during the lame duck session (within the next 30 to 60 days.) Corzine and Daggett both promise to sign Marriage Equality bill if given the chance. Christie promises to fight all advances in LGBTI rights in NJ.

Join us at Drew University for a Marriage Equality Ramp-Up on Wednesday, Nov. 4th, 2009, at 7:00 PM. 36 Madison Ave, Madison, NJ, University Center Room UC-107 to learn more. RSVP to President@GAAMC.org.

Corzine never delivered on his promise to enact gay marriage in New Jersey. It makes you wonder if all that promising and no delivering was worth it. What does it do to your base to get the ire of gays, and all the people they influence: friends?, family?, straight supporters? Maybe Rahm, Plouffe and Axlerod should take a few notes, and ask if keeping the Federal hate laws on books was worth it.
