It’s pathetic that the legislature would go against the will of the people and do this. Now Nevadans need to unelect Democrats this next election and Republicans need to fix the mess they are causing.

Democrats are pathetically incapable of governing within the bounds of law and majority.

I just cant believe that with all the other religions that people practices that the church is still making decisions that are still implementing laws based on peoples religious believes christianity belongs to everyone God is not a God of favor we are all his children and have to answer to only him; Whatever “Entity” you serve the constitution is still the constitution, and the violtion of it, is what it is. What happens when as in the 60′s when white supremisists denied interracial marriages. Is that what we’re back to? Allowing our decisions to be made by these same self righteous bible thumpers that cannot determine the diffences between the laws of seperation of church and state? When does the dicrimination end, are we free or not. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

It’s kinda bizarre that the three states most dependent on tourism–Hawai’i, Nevada and Florida–all seem to look for ways to cast gays as the ultimate scourge. All three have severe structural problems because they depend on tourists for a large portion of their revenue. Hawai’i and Nevada share the meddling hand of the Mormons, while in Florida it’s just the regular inbred white trash.

Nobody could claim that Gibbons is solely responsible for Nevada’s current problems, but nobody is stopping him from formulating ways for Nevada to emerge from this recession in better long-term fiscal and social shape.

Earlier I mentioned the elimination of outpatient chemo services. Nevada is a bad place to be poor or out of work, but that hadn’t really been put to the test for a while. Instead of Gibbons acknowledging that the status quo is a long-term threat to the state’s quality of life, he uses gays as a distraction. It also tells you that maybe Nevada got what it deserves in this governor, because he has public support on this issue. I’d be interested to see public opinion in Vegas itself. Again, like Florida, keep using the gays to keep the people distracted.

If Nevada is in such a financial bind,you would think the Governor would welcome the extra money generated by same sex couples getting married in Las Vegas,for example(a valid reason for all 50 states to leagalize “Marriage for All”) More Money being spent for a marriage license,paying for the Wedding Chapels,Bachelor and Bachelor-ettes Parties,Honeymoons,Divorces,etc. Governor Gibbons must not be much of a politician if he doesn’t recognize a cash cow when he sees one! Leagalized Gambling and Prostitution,but not same sex Marriage…hmmm?…it baffles the mind.

Gibbons will be out of work soon. We’ll remember him on election day, even if it’s to run another Republican against him. He’s the worst governor Nevada has ever had. He wants to keep the people stupid and uneducated like the hillbillys that voted him in the first time. Homophobic old fool.
