Understanding and knowing what the majority of Islam teaches is not islamphopbia.. how can it possibly be when the Majority of Sheiks and Muslim scholars will proudly state their views of intolerance, opposition to gays and women’s rights etc..Many of these people have been quoted as saying gays should be killed in their countries on their national TV’s and mosques. This is very loud clear, no shame in their game, .. why is it ok to bash the Pope when he preaches against homosexuality but Americans feel a need to defend Islam when their feelings and actions towards homosexuality are loud and clear and more violent?
Yes, not all people who are Muslim feel this way but the majority of Islam teachings have the same fundamental beliefs. ( look at any Muslim Middle Eastern country and see their status on Human rights/gay rights etc..)
We need to stop with the Political correctness.. it is what it is

Those who assume that this violence is based on rightwing islamist bigotry are likely right.

However, the rancid racism of islamophobes is not the way to defend ourselves from islamist cult violence.

Iran is a perfect example. Islamophobes are widely quoted to build up support for the killer ayatollahs, whose government would otherwise be in much greater trouble.

James.. Gays and lesbians come in all kinds of shapes, religions, non religious colors and sizes etc, just like heterosexual people.. but people who practice the same religion tend to have the same beliefs and attitudes about certain aspects of life because their religions tells them to do this. Its not a stereotype.. its just who they are.. unfortunately and sadly.. many of these people do not know any better and are genuinely good people who can’t escape what they have been brainwashed to believe because they fear its a contradiction to their faith
