I wonder how much federal funding Duke would use if that was their measuring stick? Does he actually think the goal of research at Duke is to promote relationships? Aren’t they looking at hundreds of topics, as is any institution looking to suck onto the federal money low teet?

First let me state that I believe that everyone should do what they want in their bedroom and no one outside that bedroom should pass judgment. That said, I think this story goes deeper than that. The Rev.Vetter talks about how it doesn’t promote relationships… But Rev. Vetter forgets this is a ‘RESEARCH STUDY’…. to evaluate female opinions before and after a toy party. I think this story is causing reaction only because Rev. Vetter wants his 10 mins of fame – and also because Duke is a Private Methodist University.
