In 2001 Dr. Spitzer had a paper peer reviewed, that proved that gays that desired to change were successful after reparative therapy.

In May 2009, the APA stated homosexuality was primarily the product of nurturing and environmental factors.

I hope for everyone to not get too angered by GIG’s posts, but remember this: people like GIG will not look at facts, because facts are a nuisance to them.

In the past, I taught on each level of the school system: elementary, middle, and high. In my class nor in any of the other gay teachers classes, the only AGENDA was teaching math, science, English, etc.

The kids know who their gay teachers are and don’t have a problem with it. This is why “GIG” is so infuriated. No matter how hard he/she has tried, the majority of these kids are accepting and have not been turned to hate. Kids are not idiots–they are much smarter than we give them credit. They want to make their own decisions. Some will decide to follow the likes of “GIG”. But the vast majority of them will not.

They say that the failures of Brandes and LeVay to find a gay gene have severely hurt their position. Now, with the APA coming out and saying that homosexuality is primarily caused by environmental and nurturing factors, they wonder if acceptance should be shelved.

Many gays after being weakened by attacks, claiming that they are less than straights because of their claim to not be able to make sexual choice, are now claiming that they choose to be gay.

The irony of the whole issue is that recent polls support the notion, that 8 out of 10 gays would not choose to be gay. We must ask the question, why is the LGBT bent of prohibiting the treatment of gays.

They claim that reparative therapy is harmful, but we know that cancer treatment can be harmful and even he deadly. Why the fear from the GLBT?

We must look back to there involvment with NAMBLA and pedophilia. In a 1988 conference, NAMBLA leaders proclaimed that the future of the GLBT would be determined by adults have access to children, so their natural sexuality can be released.

What we see, is that the GLBT and NAMBLA are both set on a path to grow homosexuality and pedophilia through the gay movement.”

Such couples might be thought to have a higher than usual level of commitment and stability. Yet gay and lesbian couples were divorcing just months after they married – or less.

Gay couples divorce for many reasons. Gay couples experience strong cultural pressures. Gay couples are also more likely to be two-income families with no children, which in the straight population have a higher risk of divorce. One of the less-thought-of reasons for gay marriage is to ensure that a couple in the process of break-up can access divorce courts.

As gay marriage is a relatively recent phenomenon, the gay divorce rate will not stabilize for a long time. Gay couples can only now access the streamlined legal processes that marriage and divorce provides. A study showed that the gay divorce rate for Dutch lesbian couples was higher than gay male couples, although the reason wasn’t clear. Data from Nordic countries, where gay civil unions have been legal for more than a decade, also showed a slightly higher divorce rate for lesbians.

Gay divorce:

Middlesex County (search), which is the state’s largest and includes Cambridge, Lowell and other outlying communities, received its first gay divorce case on Dec. 2, involving a 38-year-old woman who works for a cleaning business, and a 27-year-old student. The older woman sought the divorce, citing “cruel and abusive treatment” during the three months of marriage.

Opponents of gay marriage said the divorces, occurring so soon after the weddings, confirm that gay couples are not equipped for marriage.

“We’re not surprised,” said Kris Mineau, president of the Massachusetts Family Institute, which is fighting for a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage. “Particularly among male homosexuals, the promiscuity is just phenomenal.”
