It is high time to put a stop to groups engaging in overt politics while cloaking themselves in religion. If you have kept up with the news recently, you know that there are a group of Congressmen, part of “The Family” who are actually residing (THEY LIVE THERE!) in a tax advantaged “church” in Washington, DC. Using religion for personal gain and political fodder needs to be outlawed–at the very least taxpayer dollars should not be going to these criminals. The clandestine political activities of the Morman Church are proof enough that it is no longer a “church” as we know it, but a political organization. As such, we need to point out these abuses and confront them directly. I won’t even bother to delineate the degradation of women and children in such a “church”.

well San Diego are becoming active these days from Protesting outside Hyatt hotels downtown mass kissing demostration in LA jolla. wow didnt know they have Mormons living in that area.. gosh you mess with Gay community it fcuk back in the ass 10 times harder lol

wake up Patti LaBarbera, I was taught to treat others as how I am treated. No respect=No respect. I’m sick of being a stereotyped gay man. I’m not attracted to every man, I don’t like children, and I’m not a hairdresser. I was born the way that I am today. I think no matter what my parents envisioned for my future, I was born the way I am. Military camp, boys schools, or private school, I was born to be the man I am today. Beatings, abuse, or teasing, I was born the way I am.

Although, you may mean good to your community, hatred isn’t right to aflict on anyone. Forcing your religious beliefs down my throat, does not make me want to join your church. I’m not an athiest,catholic,jewish,hindu, or christian. I am me, and that I happen to believe in a spiritual world, does not make me evil. Those who spread “HATRED” of anytype, through preaching,politics, & protests, don’t seem to me that they’ll be in the line to go to Heaven. Hate is hate, no matter how nice,cheery, and blessed you may try to make it look is still hate. I’ve seen it from smiles,whispers, and acting, and I’m sorry Patti, seriously grow up.

The difference is I am not trying to legislate my morality into being the law of the land.

I respect the beliefs of those who respect mine. Even when I don’t agree with them. I don’t agree with many of the people who frequent this site but I try to be respectful.

The Mormons don’t give me that respect so they don’t get it from me.

Homosexual activists are the ultimate hypocrites when it comes to “tolerance.” You see nothing wrong with offending the religious sentiments and moral beliefs of Mormons with your obnoxious “kiss-in” outside an LDS temple. Then you cry foul when religious people offend you with their heartfelt beliefs that same-sex “marriage” is wrong. The only good that comes from your incessant religion bashing is that it reveals your true hatred for traditionalists to the wider public. Stop lying by telling Americans that your “respect” their faith teachings and the right to live them out in the public square. You clearly do not.
