For these ladies to take the additional step and come to Canada to cement that commitment to each other further stands as proof of their unconditional love for each other. As Ms. Fedotova-Fet states with conviction "somebody has to start it sometime", may her dream of a legal union with Ms. Shepitko be a realized dream not only for them but the millions of other Gay men and women in Russia!
