Randy - YOu raise an interesting point. Men and women should be able to compete in sports equally and vary only by skill level if need be. I imagine there are some sports where a segregation might seem practical, but this isn't one of those sports.

Why do we have sex-segregated sports at all? Everyone should be able to compete, no matter what's in their genes or between their legs. Like ski jump, for example. If there need to be two levels of competition, fine, but it should be based on ability, not on sex.

So what if the tests show that she has hormone levels that are (naturally) outside the normal range for her gender ? Should we then disqualify runners who have legs that are longer than the normal range in relation to their height ?

Obviously this person has ran many a race to get where they are. Why wasn't this question posed before the great win the runner has obtained. It would make sense to bring such questions to light well before this time.Glandular problems and all suspected why were these tests not put into effect before hand. hmmm
