    • Hafta agree with aakalan. Gay news coverage of our events is dismal to non existent. What if the major news networks didn’t cover political conventions, because they were busy “attending them”. BS We need more real news outlets and quality journalism in our community. We refuse to watch LOGO … they censor everything, ruin the films with all the bleeping, and most of the programming is an embarrassment.

    • Aakalan: Get over it.

The reason LOGO had no coverage is because EVERYONE AT LOGO WAS AT THE MARCH. Hard to cover it when you’re busy, you know, participating.

Good grief, the march has been a massive morale booster for those involved, do you really need to piss on the parade? Give these people a break. 365gay is understaffed and still doing all they can. If you’re seriously that demanding of coverage, get off your internet ass and go find some blogs. Here, shameless plug: Pamshouseblend.com. And guess what, the speeches? They’re on Youtube! Holy crap!

Don’t like blogs? Tough luck, then, enjoy being the bitter old queen in the corner. Some of us have work to do.

    • The gay press coverage of the National Equality March has been embarassingly bad, especially 365 Gay.

This used to be a great site until Logo bought it and turned it vanilla. What’s the matter, budget cuts?

I was hungry for information. Who were the speakers? What did they say? Who attended? How many?

So what do I get from 365 Gay? Stupid sexual tweets (how hot the Secret Service guys looked), celebrity sightings (Lady GaGa and Glee, and how good they looked) and a recycled, uninformative AP piece that I read yesterday on other sites.

You consider this coverage? I think it’s particularly embarassing that the major news you tout is the comments from your readers who weren’t there.

This is one of the reasons that we’ve waited 40 years for our rights – the inability of our own media to take this struggle seriously and our inability to show the world the depth of our despair and anger.

This is almost as bad as Sirius/XM OutQ playing club dance music for eight hours!!

What a shame that I have to go to the straight press to get any meaningful information about this march.

      You have failed your readers.
