Drewski- Eyman only does it for money. He has no morals. And it would be only the west side of the state that would vote against it. The only place that conservatives, that I see, voting against it is where the gay rodeo has been.

So far I don’t see the hand of Tim Eyman, Washington’s fave wingnut. I won’t be surprised if he does materialize though. Hope this goes down in flames; failing that, hope WA voters have sense to stop it.

IMPORTANT NOTE for if it ever gets on the ballot:

There is a difference between ‘yes’ when looking at the petition and voting concerning it!

The petition is gathering signatures to PUT THE CURRENT LAW UP FOR A VOTE.

By voting YES in the REFERENDUM you SUPPORT MAINTAINING THE DOMESTIC PARTNERSHIPS.

By voting NO you SUPPORT REPEALING THE LAW ENTIRELY.

It’s amazing that to take away ones rights and to get to vote on it you only need 120,500 signatures for a state with 6.5 million people. What a sham.

From another article I read over at the slop, they need to have an error margin below 14.4%, I think it was.

^You can see the article there, it’s got more info about what’s going on with the referendum. And it’s lulzy to say the LEAST.

If this thing does fall through and make it on the ballot, at least I’ll learn once and for all how my parents feel about it.

I hope it doesn’t go through, but if it doesn’t, it’s going to be interesting to see how my parents vote.

That math trend does put the Washington R-71 H8rs shy of their goal.

Roughly 1400 invalids in the first two days and more than 800 in the third day. Here’s hoping it’s borne out.
