He might as well stand in the church and say “Seig Heil, Mein Fuhrer”.

His comment is called “poisoning the well”, and then he goes on to say he is sorry.

The canadians have the right idea – a big fine, and even jail time for people like him.

Eventually the people will wake up. And the right wing priests will find themselves preaching to the dust in the pews and the dust of their departed. While the rest of us wait for these priests to return “to the dust from whence they came, unwept, unhonnored, and unsung.” (from a poem about non-patriots in theUS long ago).

Since priests no longer wear clerical clothing, it might be a good idea that they come with a warning label as well. How about the tattoo of an asshole in the middle every priest’s forehead?

This is exactly the type of remark that cause violence, and God forbid that the church (any church) what to cause violence against any homosexual. What is it “love the sinner, not the sin.” This priest should be excommunicated from his comfy throne and be forced to live amongst the rest of us as lowly humans. The reverend is obviously a religious notcase, we shouldn’t give him or any of them the airtime. We are now blessed with a Nazi Pope and the catholics are too dumb to do anything about it. Not surprised, their too dumb to quit the cult too.

The Church of England is no different…none of them are.

But I find the irony in a few posts too tempting. The conservatives defend an individual right to gun ownerships and the liberals fear that puts too many guns on the streets…yet we say here if the conservatives win we should take up arms! How’s that for some of their own medicine.

We’re fighting the wrong battle..against homphobia. We need to be fighting religion, the root cause.
