Heir Ratzinger is just the latest ignorant successor to the mythical cult that is the catholic church. They’d be easy enough to dismiss if they hadn’t been successful at brainwashing countless millions of people for thousands of years. People sure do love their fairytales.

So he thinks that it’s “moral” to tell people to stop using something that could help save their lives if they unknowingly have sex with an infected person??? If he keeps this up, there will be myriad lives on his conscience.

Thou I don’t agree with where the Pope was going with his comments, I do agree with the route he is taking. The promiscuity of the gay life stile is in large part a way of hiding who/what we are and our reaction to society’s condemnation of us. Society’s acceptance of our life style and the legalization of gay marriage would reduce the spread of HIV within the gay community. Unfortietly this would do little in Africa, India, and South East Asia where HIV is spread by heterosexual activity

Yeh sure. The only thing these characters know about sex is equivalent to prison rape.

Prison rape is nothing but establishing dominance and the pecking order (not a pun). The people who do this are the most macho and strongest and brutal in the situation.

And this is really what the churches sex scandal was about. Sex starved priests showing their power by attacking whoever was handy, most often alter boys. While some gay priests were probably involved, the great great majority were just church sex starved, and power warped personalities. For the church is all about power, not love.

Just like Male rape of females is about.

And if you google church scandal in Ireland, you’ll prob find the article of how they have the same problem there that the holier then thou church had here, except it also included over-working and not properly feeding children in orphanages and reform schools run by the so called Christian Brothers.

The Pope Razi is simply trying to weasel word his way out of what he effectively said – that Africans should not use condoms. His religious beliefs superscede the live of Africans, where 23 million are infected, and babies are born left and right with AIDS.

Why does he say this – because he wants more children to convert to his beliefs.

The other person in history who had lots of power wanted his women folk to have more children. This person ran Germany during RAZIngers youth, until 1945.

That pope is causing mass toxicity by teaching an already under-informed(HIV striken at that) nation that condoms are not needed. That is practically endorsing the spreading of HIV/AIDES. I sure hope other organizations are on the ball, giving medical attention, and distributing controceptives(condoms and the like included!), as well as sex education.
second, how is he promoting marriage and fidelity but denying us that very thing? This ban is a threat to OUR family dynamics as well as discouraging fidelity among us. (the best way to lower the risk of HIV is to atleast be faithful to your partner even if you cant get married though).
A meglo-maniac like the pope should expect to be intimidated; he is endorsing ppl’s rights to be stepped on(the right to safe sex, contraceptives, education and homosexuals’ rights among other things).

But in Africa, which probably provided North America with the virus according to the Patient Zero theory, AIDS is pandemic among heterosexuals. Condoms are anathema to macho Africans.
All approaches are reasonable in that part of the world.

If the Catholic Church would have really been interested in resolving the AIDS pandemic the Pope would have revealed the names of those that created the virus. In the early 80′s a mysterious illness called “the gay cancer” appeared in New York City and San Francisco which claimed the lives of many homosexual men. Those individuals had participated in an experimental vaccine project to eradicate hepatitis B. We Americans have a very famous “uncle” that was responsible for creating the disease, according to theorists.

Christ is not in the Roman Catholic Church. They must know the real story behind AIDS. Hell, they probably supported the whole thing.

Well, at least we can have faith in one thing, the fact that a religion that does not change and adapt with the times will eventually die out and become mere mythology in due time. Just look at the Greek and Roman religions. All gone. One day people will look back on the catholics and laugh. I just hope reincarnation exists, so I can be one of those people

Again, proof that the Catholic church, the X-tian right and most politicians are so out of touch with reality and common sense and their followers just blindly skip down the garden path right along side them. Dear God, save us from your followers!
