(Berlin) An Arabic-language magazine published in Germany is being investigated because of an article that warned readers not to shake hands with gays because they can transmit disease.
The article, titled “A flesh-eating bacteria and sexual abnormality,” appeared in al-Salam, a free publication available in businesses throughout Berlin.“One never knows what kind of bacteria and germs are found on them,” it said of gay men.
The article contained quotes from people the publication said were authorities on skin diseases, and was accompanied by photographs of various skin infections.
The LGBT Association of Berlin-Brandenburg filed an official complaint with police this week.
“It is now being examined to determine whether it should be dealt with as defamation or incitement,” said association spokesperson Alexander Zinn.
Zinn also called on Germany’s large Muslim community to disavow the article.
Incitement against minorities, including gays, is illegal in Germany, but in the past similar cases were not prosecuted after Muslims complained that to do so would infringe on their religious rights.

We all know what kind of germs are found on gay men! GAY GERMS! They’re nasty little buggers, appear pink and flowery under the microscope and become hyper-stimulated when any Abba track is played within 100 metres of them. And what’s more, we gay men walk down the street spraying our gay germs over good heterosexual men. If they don’t bathe within an hour the infection takes hold and within a week they’ll become gay. Primary symptoms – excellent fashion sense, a love of all things shiny and an overwhelming desire to insert all manner of objects up bottoms.

The story first appeared several months ago as a result of misreporting by homophobic christianist scandalmongers about a study indicating that a form of flesh eating bacteria, MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) was sexually transmitted. It’s not limited to sexual activity but is transmitted by skin to skin contact.
MRSA also occurs in nature. MRSA colonies can live on plants and rocks etc., and on surfaces in homes, etc. It’s more prevalent in crowded areas and hardly limited to the GLBT communities.
This is very old news and the editors of Al-Salam, if they want to capture the title ‘Most Bigoted New Source’ instead of “Most Ridiculous and Outdated Paper” will just have to get with the times.
Religion is superstition when it’s all dressed up and trying to be respectable. But it’s not; religion, christist or islamist speaks with the howling madness of the Dark Ages.
These cultists are dangerous and ought to be strictly segregated from sane people, losing their tax exemptions and being prosecuted just like any other hate mongers. Cult schools should be closed and they should be forbidden to propagandize children. In addition no priest should be allowed near young boys without the accompaniment of armed guards.
We can only hope the German authorities have the backbone to put a stop to this hate and fear instigating publication! The radical, backward, hate filled Islamists will go as far as free nations allow them in spouting their bigoted and ignorant beliefs. They deserve just as much latitude to express their views as they give other regligions to express their views in Islamist countries. Iran and Saudi Arabia anyone???
Well, this isn’t about anyone’s religious rights. It is about aggressive ignorance and slander. The Nazis made the same kinds of statements about Jews. This is clearly an issue of defamation and incitement.
Religion is a choice! But anyone who questions religion is blasted as being evil and atheistic by these self-appointed and closed-minded deceivers. They force their prejudices on their children. And when a child becomes an adult and thinks for himself/herself, they begin condemning one of their own for finding a “different truth”. The purpose of religion is to stop such independent thinking and force their “sheep” to become non-thinking automatons, and give all their time and money to the cause of their bigoted, self-serving and evil leaders. …… I say this will all kindness and humility, with an healthier emotion and an independent wisdom than my oponents would speak: As long at they do not try to force me to accept their religion and ill-conceived ideas, I will not force them to accept me and my ideas. But if they push me, then I must needs push back with equal or even greater force. I am not a “sheep”; I can think and I can think even more clearly and use my good judgement. With a humanitarian conscience, I cannot throw my good sense to the wind . So I say, please keep your religion at home or in your churches, and leave the rest of us alone, and allow us to live as you might want to live. Remember, it is a great thing to love one’s neighbor, which means letting your neighbor live freely as well, even if you do not agree with them. One day, if they restrict the LGBT community enough, they will become victims of their own agenda and laws. That is the law of nature.
