Anti-gay preachers banned from UK.
The UK Border Agency said it opposed “extremism in all its forms”. “We will continue to stop those who want to spread extremism, hatred and violent messages in our communities from coming to our country.

Alan….The Southern Poverty Law Center has them listed as a hate group, so I am sure there are others who have them listed as the same.

If the Brits denied entry to a right wing Dutch member of parliament due to his “hateful” views on the Koran, they should have no problem denying Phelps and company entry to Britain on exactly the same grounds… Incitement to hatred is not covered by Britain’s rights to freedom of speech, which are considerably tighter than the US’.

The U.K. recently denied entry to a Dutch MP who had produced a film critical of Islam. I see no reason they couldn’t ban Phelps.

Someone might need to point out to them that the First Amendment does not apply to foreign countries. British law might not be so indulgent of their antics.

Does this “church” actually get tax benefits from the IRS? If they do,then it should be revoked permanently. Any other hate group would not be able to be tax free. Does anybody know how to find this out?

Dear Shirley Phelps-Roper,
You have no right to say half the things you just said. If God did hate gays then why did he make us? God obviously did not make the bible, man made it. So how do you know God doesn’t think the bible is a sin? Ever since I was a little kid I have believed in God, but I don’t believe in the bible. The bible was written a hundred years after Jesus’ death, so how on earth do you know what it states is true? I have known I was gay since the 2nd grade yet I still love God because I know he loves me. Being gay can not be a sin, because we can not control it. There are many other species that have homosexuals. Like dolphins, sheep, lions, dogs, and many more. The only way I will ever believe that God hates me, or thinks being gay is a sin, is if he comes down from the heavens and says it himself.
