(New York) Just days after his feud with the Black Eyed Peas, Perez Hilton has found himself on the defensive again, this time for a posting on his Web site about Michael Jackson.
After the first reports about Jackson’s failing health, Hilton wrote that he doubted Jackson had gone into cardiac arrest. In a post that has since been removed from PerezHilton.com, the celebrity blogger speculated that Jackson was pulling a stunt to get out of his upcoming concerts in London.Hilton’s skepticism, of course, proved unfounded – and many have called for a boycott of the blogger. Hundreds of users on Twitter have urged others to “unfollow” Hilton on the microblogging service. Pete Wentz of the band Fall Out Boy was among the celebrities who chastised Hilton.
Hilton (real name: Mario Lavandeira) didn’t return e-mails requesting comment.
He did, though, tweet many times about the situation, claiming that he was owning up to his mistake and that he was “genuinely feeling sorry that he died and sorry for his kids.”
On Thursday, Hilton apologized for using a gay slur during a nightclub altercation Monday with Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am. The altercation resulted in the band’s tour manager being charged with assault for allegedly punching Hilton.
Hilton apologized after the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation pressed him to apologize.

Time to move beyond Perez Hilton.
He’s a turd. It’s about time he buggered off back under whatever slimy rock he crawled out from. This latest cock up hasn’t changed my opinion of him. I’m no Michael Jackson fan, won’t be mourning his death (though I won’t be celebrating it either), and I can forgive him for thinking it was a publicity stunt, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s a vile little man whose fifteen minutes were up long ago.
He’s the liberals’ Ann Coulter. He generates controversy, clicks increase on his site, he makes money.
Silly. He has made millions from having NO edit button, so why should he start now? Besides, the more people he angers, the more news he makes.
Who cares.
If I want gossip I’ll pick up the Inquirer. Who cares what Mario has to say, it’s hatefull and mean. When people lash out like this is’t usually because of low self esteem. Probably doesn’t really like himself.

The only thing that makes news of Perez Hilton matter in the least, is that it’s a lesson that even though someone shares certain social views as yours, he can find ways to embarrass you to no end.
The stressing of “gaps”and subgroups within the gay community only serves to break the unity that is required to achieve the rights that we are entitled. The fight for our rights is up to EVERYONE regardless of age.

The problem with Perez is that he doesn’t think before he writes – he just emotes and consequently shoves his foot in his mouth a bit too often.

All the Hiltons are not worth any of the press they get. What’s wrong with US?
Time for the Gay press to ignore Perez, his writing is boring and has little added value other than some catty, unfounded comments. It is unbelievable that just because he is gay he gets so much of our entertainment attention. Pull the plug on Perez.
