Unless he is completely ignorant and uninformed by living in a sound-proof bubble, Robertson knows both his statement on the hate crimes legislation and the history of Haiti are very economical on the truth.. Robertson has to know that the hate crimes legislation does protect religious groups from hate crimes as it should. However, I sense he really does not care about the truth, nor, while proclaiming he is pro-life, does he care about LGBT people who are beaten or murdered or about LGBT and Questioning youth in schools who are bullies and harassed by homophobic bullies. It is time for United States citizens to demand this man and his organization have their charitable tax status revoked.

In this law religious bias is one of the categories of bias crime covered by hate-crime laws. Beware when you attack Buddhists,we do fight back with compassion!

What Robertson didn’t factor into his “argument” is the fact that the bill will protect many of his gay brethren, such as Ted Haggard and Larry Craig. It’s a win-win for right-wing haters who happen to be homosexual; they get to have their cock and eat it too.

I really don’t blame robertson. It’s the idiots that suck up his every word and worship him as some kind of messiah. They’re the ones with the problem.

By the way, why is a law to protect people supposed to be a “noose around anyone’s neck” especially for a group of people who are “supposed” to believe in love and forgiveness?

This just proves that they are liars and are NOT true Christians. I mean after all, Jesus was a liberal Jew who hung around with prostitutes and social outcasts. Wouldn’t they be surprised if Jesus returned as a short, fat, black, lesbian? They’d be gathering in HOARDS to crucify him again.
