I’m so sick of McCain lying about the campaign finance thing. He and Obama initially agreed to accept public financing. Then he backed out. So, of course, Obama did. Then McCain opted back in when it became apparent he wasn’t going to be raising the kind of money he wanted. Then he backed out. And then he opted back in. I don’t blame Obama for a minute for deciding not to wait around while McCain dithered and flipflopped over the finance issue.

You know, I had a debate with a co-worker earlier this year. She (a black woman) said that there was no way that Obama would get the nomination due to the fact that he was black. I noted that I thought he could win the nomination as sexism was far more prevalent than racism. I noted far more men (and women) could see themselves working for a black man than could a woman.

Male Politicians easily wear suits valued at over $1,000 each. No one bats an eye about that. Hillary Clinton was picked on (endlessly) about her pants suits. It really should not be important what the politician is wearing. The important thing should be what the politician has to say.

It is an unfortunate situation that it was believed that Sarah had to be “Primped Up” in order to campaign.

Hey Beargluch and the like, as far as I am concerned she and anyone else can spend as much money on clothing, haircuts and the like as long as it’s coming out of their own Gucci lined pockets. Everyone points to every other candidate in history, however no one acknowledges this very important fact >>> “the others” paid for it with their own hard earned money. Bottom line: that is the point!

It’s not about fashion, gender bias, media bias, or (probably) missing facts. It’s about a potential violation of campaign laws and hypocritical behavior from the “simple, hockey mom” candidate.

She didn’t pick up them threads that don’t even look good with a rifle, from hicksville Alaska! They are from New York City! Who is Palin tryin’ a kid? It’s only now she’s learned fashion isn’t just for chuch on Sunday, where you walk down the aisle and are innoculated against witchcraft!
