Being gay is not the only thing about who I am. I am a gay conservative democrat. I laugh at the fact that the liberal nut-job crowd in the comments here are calling any gay republican “self-loathing” yet look what you’re doing; putting down other gays SIMPLY because of the word “republican”.
Not all republicans are against gay rights. Claiming you cannot be gay and conservative is like saying you cannot be religious and liberal, gay and religious, etc. Get your head out of your asses.

I agree. To me, “Gay Republican” is a contradiction in terms, unless your self-loathing is so overpowering that you consider yourself unworthy of respect, love your tormentor for punishing you, and develop loyalty to those who abuse you. It’s called Stockholm Syndrome, and the Log Cabin crowd has it in spades!
