What else would you expect from the majority of republcans?

Sure there are some good Repubs, like Sen Hagel and others who are so sick of their party that they are retiring, and offering to help out the democrats.

But we need to understand that the repubs are the party to a large extent filled with 3 types.

The ignorant rednecks. who don’t understand who is destroying their jobs and families

A large number of the super-rich, who are totally corrupted by their God of Greed and it’s golden calf. Look at what they have done to our economy.

The American Conservative Christian taliban, which bears so much resemblence, though of course is not really physically violent, to their Afghanistan namesakes. Jesus must weep for the hate and ignorance they propagate in His Name.

There is something sad when in America today a person running for the US SENATE can only bring hate and division to the people he portends to represent! In the worst climates of this worlds’ history it was always hate and division which caused the greatest pain and suffering, the Jews of Europe, the Armenian genocides of Turkey, the ethnic Cleansing of Bosnia-Herzegovina and so if all Inhofe can offer the people of OK is Hate division and prejudicial rehtoric then OK deserves the scorn of the rest of this nation for the likes of Sally Kern and Jim Inhofe keeping them in the 19th C….. and not fostering an environment where we are all equal under this nation’s constitution! Sad Sad Sad!
But thank god there are people willing to take a stand for what is right and just and tho he may loose Mr. Rice has made a place for himself among the righteous who will put themselves out there for those who have no one to speak for them or to represent them!

What would you feel if OK state senator Andrew Rice (Inhofe’s opponent) was a church-goer? I read his thoughts on Inhofe being in Washington far too long and that Inhofe “has lost his way”. And that Inhofe’s campaign ads fail to mention Oklahoma’s issues, needs and priorities as a state. Rice seems a reasonable guy and worthy opponent of Inhofe. I asked his what by e-mail what he wants for gay Oklahomans and gay Americans in general if by chance he replaced Inhofe.

Bitter Oklahoman teen here, and yes, I am quite disgusted with my state’s government. Along with these losers is of course Sally Kern. Even Arkansas isn’t as bad as we are.

Worse than Oklahoma’s Republican, bigoted but not so stupid Senator Jim Inhofe (a Mormon) are the crazed and bigoted Oklahoma voters who keep electing him. A backward, lost in time and ugly state, Oklahomans tend to be orthodox bible thumpers.

Mr. Inhof is a backward Senator, representing a group of very backward and “un-sophisticated” people that are easily lead by a cute slogan. I can only hope that Mr. Rice can connect with more voters and oust this
Amazing that Inhof won’t support tax credits for “alternative energy sources” like solar and wind, when his state has such an abundance of both. Obviously, he is in the pockets of the Oil companies and is only interested in more of the same Bush policies….but then again even the Bush administration has given acknowledgement that “Global warming” is real, so Inhof is just arbitrary, petty, small minded and enjoys being obstinate and oppositional. He needs some better meds and a better therapist….
