as Wayne said, Jesus commanded to bring all people unto him. He visited the sinners (which is all of us) and preached repentance to them so the COULD come to him. He never said come just as you are, commit whatever sin you like and I’ll still accept you. He said come, I love you, I want you to be happy, and in order to do that you need to repent of your sins. It seems to me Bishop Thomas E. Breidenthal is ignoring Christ’s teachings. God loves sinners–but He has never accepted sin.

By opening the door to same-sex married couples, it is clear the Episcopal Church is responding to Jesus command to bring all people unto Him.

@ StraightandProud–if you’re so godly, can you explain why you’re trolling a gay website? And these three points: first, your hellfire language shows that you’re no Episcopalian; second, your quotes–your kind consistently do this–your quotes are Old Testament; and third, if you believe so much in the Old Testament, you have not accepted Christ and are in fact a de facto Orthodox Jew. I don’t see many Orthodox Jews spending their days going on gay-hating adventures, so it looks like they won’t claim your confused self either. How’s about you go check your apocrypha and study the meaning of STFU. Blessed be.

This Church is a great alternative for Catholic Homosexuals who have been discriminated against by the Catholic Church…
