Our Holyoke Communtiy College equality prom is on may 19th sorry. But I am fully supportive of the cause and will try to find something special to wear.

Only few years ago they would ban a black and white student if they chose to attend the prom.

I guess if one high school football jocks invited Carrie Prejean they would hail his choice.

I was shocked when I saw comments posted on Yahoo in regards to this story. There were idiots who said that this girl was “trying to get special rights,” and others who said, “it’s sad that she ruined the prom for everyone.” It never ceases to amaze me how low the intelligence bar can drop.

I got to say I hate people anymore. And I sure as hell will be dressin in my finest thats for sure and I’m telling everyone i can think of. And there is nothing more disgusting then religion anymore because there are no real ones anymore its all about the power and fear it brings. It makes me sick.

This is exactly how you counter stupid homophobia bred of corrupt religion.

You turn the situation around, to your advantage, and make the bigots look like what they are – a small minority of sick people.

Its also about time to get the PSych orgs to classify Homopobia and religous hatred of minorities as an induced mental illness.

Though I shudder at the prospect of 25% of the people in the local WAL MART looking like refugees form a 1960s prom!!
