This event happened yesterday... but it doesn't appear to have made a blip on the radar as far as news is concerned. This is something that the LGBT community should take a great interest in because it's about something personal, it's about our health and the breaking of stereotypes. Since it broke out, HIV/AIDS has been labelled a "Gay disease" and even to this day, straight people don't think that they can get it. People need to become more educated on this topic... it's crazy how many of us don't get tested. You'd be amazed at how many in our community simply think it won't or can't happen to them so they dismiss it. This is something that our community can unite against because it's a universal problem that everybody should be able to rally against. Props to 365gay.com for keeping the community informed. I just wish that other media sources would be so accommodating.
