You have got to be kidding me. Really? I know there are times when some people don't know their HIV status, and I know there's the argument that what happens between two consenting shouldn't be legislated, however, I have a feeling that most of these cases in the US and Canad and such are based around one partner not telling the other that they have HIV or them outright lying about it. With mitigating circumstances in place, I think it is remiss to not have laws in place criminalizing the spread of HIV. It seems clear that there are many who will learn no other way than with the punishment of the law that spreading HIV is not a good thing to do.
