They noted McCain said he was very "uncomfortable" running the type of campaign he has authorized. CNN showed clips of the lies and then backup clips to prove their claims. Tonight they will do the same to Obama. I am sure it will be interesting after tonight, to see what the campaigns will do. On the political commercials I see here in Florida, Obama is just attacking McCain's policies. But McCain is doing a personal smear campaign on Obama. Hmmm! I think McCain has reneged on the promise to run an ethical campaign. And that should make everyone quite queasy about voting for this set of Republicans. Republicans wrote in the Orlando Sentinel opinions, saying they want everyone to allow Palin to do what she has promised when elected. Well, the VP has only two duties to perform: (1) Preside over the Senate and (2) vote when there is a tie. Do people really think a VP has any power vested by the Constitution? Someone needs to go back to their middle school civics class for a refresher. Even our first VP, John Adams, complained about how powerless a VP is when he was VP for George Washington. Cheney was given his power by GWB, because he has too much dirt on GWB. Cheney knows how to function in Washington as long time operative. Palin knows nothing of the place, and admits so. That lipstick-wearing pit bull has been castrated already.
