(Wilton Manors, Fla.) A man with a tattoo of Britney Spears’ name on his arm or neck allegedly stole a Chihuahua with pink earrings from a South Florida gay bar. Brian Dortort, 48, said Thursday he has spent weeks searching for his 4-month-old pooch, named Hudson Hayward Hemingway. The dog, about the size of a softball, was in a specialty pet bag.
Dortort said he let a man hold the Chihuahua for a moment during a friend’s birthday party, then both of them disappeared.Police said a suspect has been identified, but it’s up to the Broward State Attorney’s Office to decide whether to an issue an arrest warrant.

My first thought is that I’m embarrassed and irritated that I’ve wasted three minutes of my life on this stupid story and still cannot understand why the advocate thought it was news. My second thought was “Bravo” to the animal lover that stole that dog away from some abusing, wanna-be Paris Hilton BFF. 4 months old, dragged around in some designer tote with “ear rings”!!?? Perhaps now he’s living a “dogs life”, chasing balls, fighting with other dogs, rolling in the mud and walking on his own instead of being some idiots fashion accessory. I wish this article had been followed by how millions of dogs are abused this way every year by the kind of person who thinks only of their wants, needs and desires and not their animals. It’s a dog, not a baby, a boyfriend or a purse. Again, bravo to the thief.
I feel sorry for that inbred micro pooch. It’s the demand for “tea cup” size dogs that leads to so many physical problems for the little things.
Second, was the dogs ears really pierced? If so the owner is a shithead!

No offense to the owner nor to Jane Lynch, but…dog theft and a Jane Lynch acting story are “breaking news?”
Come on–With your sources and everything else going on in the world, the trivial nature of these stories demean what 365gay.com is SUPPOSED to be about. This is a waste of cyberspace and someone’s time and money. Please stick to REAL news–AFFECTING–the LGBT community.
