Upon learning that the person was actually seeking to rent for the place got two people the owner declined tenancy. Whatever miscommunication happenned is largely their fault, and they're taking advantage of a loving caring Christian person who would NEVER do anything unfair. They should've been honest and said that they were looking for a place for the both of them. I know for a fact that that is not the case. To turn around and allege discrimination does diservice to those who truly have an issue. If they win this case, it will be major bad karma for them. I am a liberal Democrat gay Christian. I've tried atheism and found it (speaking just for myself) leaving me "spiritually hungry" and not meeting inner needs in the sense of not feeling happy and fulfilled and of feeling a void inside that jolly good times and fun didn't fill. I feel more settled inside, more content and getting more out of life since I have been going to a gay-friendly church. So, I am a gay Christian man hoping to one day meet another like-minded gay Christian who would want one day to be my future husband. If so I would have to agree with the Landlords and if the situation was reversed and the lesbian couple were the landlords they too should be able to not rent to a xian individual or couple.
